I started out at Sazanpia in Minami Nobeoka to teach some English to some English starved kids.
They recently added some signs, so we can ba assured that they will be around for a while. We hope,
anyway.
The added red does make the building stand out a little more than before.

I guess it started as a joke. Someone left their can. Then, before anyone knew it, it became a bunch
of cans. I wonder if the person that refills the drinks saw the cans the last time he refilled the vending machine?
Then, I took a ride out to the Kamiigata Lake. I noticed that someone left a bench there. That
was really nice of them.
Then I found this fresh inoshishi (wild boar) jaw near the bench. It might have been because of some
poachers or perhaps it died and the other wild boars ate it to the bones.
In my 12 years or so of living in the area, I never noticed this waterfall. It must be a recently created
waterfall.

Now, this is definitely new. I dared not cross the river. The water seemed a little deep.
I didn't want to get stuck in the mountains.
Is it legal to hang dead animals on a string? I have seen some plastic crows to be used as scarecrows.
But, this is the first time I have seen a dead hawk and a dead crow hanging from a rope.
